Rob Bell

 
 
Rob started dancing at the age of 14 in the North West at Heysham High school Morecambe. At 16 he moved to London and trained at the Central school of Ballet for 3 years.
 
In 1987 Rob joined the Dutch National Ballet as an apprentice and danced with them for 15 years in all the major Classical and Contemporary works of the 20th Century. He performed the roles of Rothbart in Swan Lake, Hilarion in Giselle, and the Moor in Petrushka and worked with world class choreographers; the likes of Glen Tetley (Voluntaries )William Forsythe (Artifact) and Christopher Bruce (Rooster ) to name but a few .
 
Rob retired from the company in 2002 after reaching the rank of Demi Soloist and is now a freelance ballet and creative dance teacher and choreographer; currently working for The Royal Ballet school on their  Dance Partnership and Access program and the Centre for Advanced Training at The Lowry.
 

Rob is also a member of Fallen Angels Dance Theatre and CO3 Dance Company.
