NorthWest Dance Open Days offer the chance to find out about dance opportunities and initiatives in your local area, across the region and nationally. All Open Days offer a practical and informative workshop experience for young people wishing to pursue their passion and interest in dance.
Final Audition application forms will also be offered at each Open Day to participants aged 12-16 who are interested in applying to The Lowry Centre for Advanced Training in Dance. (CAT) The scheme offers access to high quality training and nurturing in dance and support via Means Tested Grants from the highly acclaimed Music and Dance Scheme.
The Open Day will include a contemporary and creative session for the young people followed by a question and answer session that gives both potential students and their parents/guardians the chance to find out more about the CAT and other opportunities available through NorthWest Dance and its partners.
Open Days are free to attend but MUST be booked in advance by filling out the booking form and returning it to NorthWest Dance via post or email.

Saturday 12th May 2012 – Pyramid Arts Centre, Warrington/ 10am – 2pm
Sunday 13th May 2012 – The Playstation, Penrith/ 10am – 4pm
Saturday 19th May 2012 – Eaton Bank School, Congleton/10am – 2pm
Sunday 20th May 2012 – Liverpool Theatre School/ 10am – 1pm
Sunday 27th May 2012 – Dolphin Dance Studios, Liverpool/ 10am – 1pm
Sunday 27th May 2012 – Live at LICA Uni of Lancaster/ 11am – 3pm
Sunday 3rd June 2012 – Chester University/ 10am - 2pm
Sunday 10th June 2012 – The Dancehouse, Manchester / 10am – 3pm
From these Open Days, suitable candidates will be invited to audition for The Lowry Centre for Advanced Training.
