Urban Stage is opening a new specialist dance course which will be run by Beth Bracegirdle.

 

Beth trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and since graduating has been teaching at Urban Stage,the Centre for Advanced Training in Dance at The Lowry and BTEC dance at Pendleton College. Beth also performs with her own dance company.

 

For the first term we are offering a half price discount for the ten week term.

 

NEW DANCE COURSE

This course aims to provide students with an insight and discovery into the creative world of dance, which is both safe and accessible for beginners, as well as allowing the experienced dancer to push new boundaries of body movement. The course will explore many different dance genres such as street jazz, contemporary dance and musical theatre dance.

 

Training in highly physical techniques will improve posture, alignment, co-ordination, general fitness, mental alertness and a positive self image.  Students will be encouraged to develop their own creative skills working towards regular public performances and National Youth Dance platforms.
