As part of his exhibition A Flash of Light at The Lowry, we are pleased to be able offer a one off master class with the world renowned dance photographer Chris Nash, to young people aged 14+ with a particular interest in dance photography.

Chris has photographed such dance artists and companies as Javier De Frutos, Henri Oguike Dance Company, The Chomondeleys and the Featherstonehaughs, Rambert Dance Company and the Royal Ballet School.

In this workshop, Chris will demonstrate a variety of techniques for photographing dance within different settings. Participants will learn key skills to work towards mastering the art of the photography of movement.

The master class will take place on Sunday 26^th February 2012 from 10am – 4pm at The Lowry.

Due to the detailed nature of the master class, the workshop is limited to 16 places.

The cost is £20 per person. A concessionary rate of £15 is applicable to residents of the Salford area.

Participants must bring their own cameras.
