The Brewery has a high standard of dance programming and workshops with visitnig companies to support the main programme. Workshops and classes are offered in both Community and Educational settings.

Through the Education and Outreach Department at the Brewery Arts Centre, we are privileged to offer the opportunity to work on arts form specific projects or as a team. We have Development Officers in Drama, Music and Visual Arts as well as dance and are able to use our skills to create many opportunities.

Specialism

Brewery dance works in a variety of settings and age ranges from 18 months through to adults. Creative dance is encouraged through group participation and creative sharing. The essence of the work is in Contemporary dance which incorporates contact, travel, floor work and using all of the body and imagination. Work can be delivered to correlate to Curriculum studies, learning through a different form.
