Summary
Cheshire Dance leads the provision and support of dance, working in partnerships and creating links across Cheshire and beyond. It aims to fully awaken the art form of dance as a force for communication, entertainment, participation and social change.
Cheshire Dance began in 1976, it became a registered charity in 1983 and a company limited by guarantee in 1993. Cheshire Dance is annually funded by, and a recognised delivery body of Arts Council England, Cheshire West and Chester Council and Cheshire East Council.
Cheshire Dance is ‘Positive About Disabled People’, it has been awarded a ‘Here by Right’ award (supporting youth voice with the organisation).
